    Lauren Sullivan '13 Becomes First EC Player Drafted in CWHL
    Lauren Sullivan '13 was selected in the 10th round of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) Entry Draft by the Toronto Furies. Sullivan becomes the first Elmira College women's ice hockey player to ever be drafted in the CWHL. In addition, Sullivan was one of only three NCAA Division III athletes chosen in this year's draft and one of 13 goalies.

    David Beriau '08 to Head Lacrosse Program at Saint Joseph's (Maine)
    Saint Joseph's College Athletic Director Brian Curtin has announced the hiring of David Beriau '09 as head men's lacrosse coach.  Beriau '09 played four years of collegiate lacrosse for Head Coach Preston Chapman at Elmira College in upstate New York. While playing numerous positions over his career, he tallied six goals and 19 assists with 83 ground balls in 52 contests. Beriau '09, a team co-captain as a senior, was the Soaring Eagles' representative on the Empire 8 Conference Sportsman of the Year Team and was also Elmira mate Award recipient in 2006.

    EC alumna's successful coaching career on the rise
    Corey Holton '05 accepts position as the assistant coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's soccer team.  Corey got her professional start while playing for the Elmira College Soaring Eagle's soccer team, by working in the office of her coach, Franco Bari, who would become her mentor. Following an internship with the Eastern College Athletic Conference, Bari would recruited her for her first coaching opportunity....
